Man on a Mission

He came home for a few weeks.

To say good-bye to the ocean,

the beach

and his brother

The decision had been made

and confirmed

He knew  where he was going

and why

We enfolded him in the 

family bond

of here and now

and Forever

He said his piece

in church

Then he packed his bags

and made the journey

into the adventure of a lifetime

and eternity.
